NEWARK ? The ongoing divorce trial of NFL star Michael Strahan and his estranged wife has even seasoned divorce lawyers amazed at the emerging details. Jean Strahan has accused the New York Giants Pro Bowl defensive end of beating her, visiting a liposuction surgeon, and maintaining an "alternative lifestyle" with a man. She, in turn, is said to have spent tens of thousands of dollars in a single year on baby clothes, and ordering the household's chefs to prepare gourmet steak for her dogs. "On the matrimonial Richter scale, I'd say it's an 8.5," celebrity divorce attorney Raoul Felder told The Sunday Star-Ledger of Newark. "It is wantonly, needlessly destructive. Somebody must hate somebody very much." The case slogged through state Superior Court in Newark last week, and is scheduled to continued into this week.
