Each ring features intricate detail that includes the name and position of the individual player. Some of the rings had to be specially designed for the oversized fingers of some players. Fieldgate and other surviving members of the '64 team will receive their rings at a dinner ceremony Aug. 3. According to Fieldgate, the team has lost seven players, two coaches and a president over the years. .
