Work on part of the development of Battersea Reach has stopped due to lack of planning approval, but developer St George has stressed the work has simply been completed. Following complaints from a resident living opposite the site, in York Road, about work being conducted without planning permission, Wandsworth Council investigated. It discovered clean-up work and excavations for a temporary access ramp to the underground car park were being carried out. .
