Charles N. Gitto Jr. and Gary C. Gitto can expect to find themselves on the witness stand sometime in the future, according to documents filed Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. In a joint pre-trial statement filed by Clinton Savings Bank's lawyers and M. Ellen Carpenter, Tradex Corp.'s bankruptcy trustee, Carpenter wrote that she expects to call on the Gittos, former executives of the defunct plastics company Gitto Global Corp., and Steven P. Cash, Clinton's former president, to testify. But Carpenter admits she is not expecting much from the testimony of Charles Gitto, former chairman of Gitto Global and owner of Tradex, which served as Gitto Global's landlord, according to the statement. "The Trustee expects that Charles Gitto will assert his privilege against self-incrimination and will refuse to testify," she wrote.
