THE divorce lawyers for royals Charles and Diana have been hired by Paul McCartney and the former Beatle's estranged wife in what is shaping to be one of the most expensive and high-profile partings since the collapse of the royal marriage. Anthony Julius, who was the princess's lawyer and became a close friend in the 1996 divorce that had her receive a pound stg. 17million settlement, will represent McCartney's wife, former model Heather Mills. Fiona Shackleton, who acted for Charles, will be in McCartney's corner. Nicholas Mostyn, whose successes have earned him the nickname Mr Payout, is also on McCartney's legal team. McCartney, 64, is a much richer man than the prince, with personal wealth estimated at pound stg. 825 million ($2billion). The couple did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before their wedding in 2002.
