ORGANIZATIONS Vincenzo Gabriele, co-owner of Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant in Louisville, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Distinguished Restaurants of North America, a nonprofit association of 850 fine-dining restaurants. Gabriele, a native of Palermo, Italy, has been in the restaurant business for over 37 years. He made his home in Louisville in 1975. On Sept. 12, Vincenzo's will celebrate its 20th anniversary — Gabriele opened the restaurant 1986, in partnership with his brother, Agostino Gabriele.
