Treasure Coast voters will select one of three area attorneys to fill on the bench of the 19th Judicial Circuit, a seat created this spring by the Legislature. Selecting a judge often is difficult because candidates often must discuss issues only in the most abstract of terms. Voters are left to choose a candidate based on personality, experiences, education, and with little insight into what a potential judge might do in specific courtroom situations. .
