Please recall that I have been warning you about anti-gambling zealots who want to impose their worldview on everyone else. I won't go through the litany of all the people and the organizations that aid and abet these folks; you've read enough about most of them already. But now we have an individual, an attorney in Colorado who specializes in "gambling law", moseying on over to New Jersey to file a qui tam lawsuit against a variety of corporations including Disney (ESPN) and Viacom (CBS). Why them? Because he alleges they are engaging in illegal gambling activities by offering fantasy football hosting services for a fee. Why might he go all the way to New Jersey to file this action? Well the law in New Jersey allows for these kinds of qui tam suits and the person filing the suit - if he wins - splits the damages 50/50 with the state government.
