LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Lawyers for Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards say in Los Angeles the celebrity couple's formerly tense divorce proceedings have reached an agreeable plateau. People magazine reported lawyers for both actors said in a joint statement, made outside a courtroom Monday, that their clients have reached a formal agreement in the divorce, but have not concluded what has so far been a very acrimonious process. "Both parties have amicably resolved any outstanding issues on an interim basis," said Lance Spiegel, Sheen's attorney, in the statement. Since filing for divorce from the 40-year-old Sheen in April, Richards had obtained a restraining order against her husband to limit his contact with her and their two daughters, 2-year-old Sam and Lola, 1.
