THE family law department of Surrey lawyers Barlow Robbins, specialising in divorce and separation has expanded its service into Guildford in response to an increasing demand in Surrey which is now the divorce capital of Europe. The county has more divorces per capita than in any other town in Europe, even surpassing the national trend which now sees half of all marriages ending in divorce. As well as expanding the firm's Woking-based team, the new designated Guildford office will be the largest family law specialists in Surrey. “We have a wide range of expertise here," said head of the firm's family law, Barbara Wright. “There is a deputy district judge in the team which is fantastic for giving us an insight into how the judging process works. The more we can work in unison with judges the better service we can offer.
