Darden Restaurants Inc. said Friday that it has selected Trammell Crow Co. to develop its new corporate headquarters at the corner of John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway in Orlando. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Dallas-based Trammell Crow previously helped Darden identify the site of its new headquarters and helped Darden sell and lease back its existing campus to Patriot Equities of Wayne, Pa., for $45.3 million in August. The two firms are in the process of choosing an architect. Target to sell generics for $4 Target Corp. has decided to follow Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s plan to sell $4 generics -- a move that experts say is likely to create a completely new and cheaper pricing structure for America's off-patent medicines. On Thursday, Wal-Mart shocked the retail industry by saying it would offer one-month supplies of 291 generic drugs for $4 in Tampa immediately, expand to the rest of Florida in January and eventually to the rest of the nation.
