STUART ? A prominent Stuart attorney and a former Atlanta mayor with ties to the Willie Gary law firm are among 14 Florida lawyers suspended from practicing law, the Florida Bar announced Thursday. Jerome Stone of the firm Stone and Copobianco, who was admitted to the bar in 1995, was suspended for 90 days in a June 29 court order. He agreed to a conditional guilty plea that will allow him to be automatically reinstated once the discipline is complete. .
