David E. Danner is founder and president of the Tennessee Black Lawyers Association. A native Nashvillian, Danner attended Tennessee State University, at which he received a B.S. degree in business administration. He earned a J.D. degree from Boston College. Recently, Danner, 38, was one of three attorneys nationwide honored at the National Association of Future Black Law Students's 2006 Legacy Builder Award ceremony. What is your main challenge in leading the Tennessee Black Lawyers Association? The TBLA mission is to provide a “chamber of commerce" specifically for lawyers.
