LAWYERS for the AWB kickbacks inquiry have recommended criminal charges against up to 16 current and former executives of the disgraced wheat exporter. Fairfax newspapers reported last night that counsel assisting the inquiry John Agius SC names the executives in his final submission to Commissioner Terence Cole. Those understood to have been named as possible accessories to offences include former AWB chairman Trevor Flugge, former managing directors Andrew Lindberg and Murray Rogers and the current head of AWB International, Sarah Scales. Also named in Mr Agius's final report are five current AWB managers. The alleged offences are understood to refer to dishonesty and deception in relation to the $290million paid in bribes to the former regime of Saddam Hussein....
