JOSEPH KONY, the LRA leader, has invited a team of lawyers to discuss the international warrant of arrest against him and his commanders. The lawyers Gulu LC5 chairman, Norbert Mao, Jacob Oulanyah, Owinyi Dollo and UK-based Barney Afako are to be accompanied to the meeting by Gulu Resident District Commissioner Col. Walter Ochora. The team leaves for Ri-Kwangba, in South Sudan today (Sunday). Kony has also invited two of his former wives and a few elders to meet him, reviving hopes that he could be seeking reassurance about his safety if he comes out of the bush. Ochora confirmed the invitation on Mega FM on Friday, saying the rebels wanted to discuss the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrants as well as reconciliation and accountability, which are item number three on the peace talks agenda....
