Open Text Corporation the largest independent provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, has announced that Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, one of the largest law firms in the nation, is significantly expanding its deployment of the Open Text LegalKEY® Records Management™ solution. The expansion accommodates the increase in lawyers and support staff due to the firm's merger in July 2006, when Buchanan Ingersoll PC and Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling PC merged to form Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. As a result of the merger, approximately 250 Klett Rooney attorneys, government affairs professionals and staff members joined Buchanan's more than 900 employees, creating one of the largest law firms in the country with more than 500 attorneys.
