It's not cheaper to outsource the work to India; the US simply doesn't have enough trained accountants. So once again, it's destination India that's coming to the rescue. Girish Natu is busy these days filing tax returns for US citizens sitting right here in Pune. He has 50 accountants under him working around the clock, trying to meet the demand. Just this year he's filed tax returns for 2500 people, which is a 100 per cent increase in business from last year. "For those who have handled Indian tax laws, the American laws are very simple. Any accountant can do it. So it's great for us," said Girish Natu, Chartered Accountant.
