Greene, Nancy D. Attorney

Running a business is like walking through a minefield. One bad step and KABOOM!! You and your business are done for. Tired of watching small businesses kill their livelihood because they were not properly protected, Nancy Greene, Esquire ensures while you’re out doing what you love and growing your business, you aren’t always watching your feet for landmines. An Amazon best-selling author, a member of the National Association of Professional Women, a NAPW Woman of the Year 2012/2013, and a member of the EWomen Network and the Women’s Speaker’s Association, Nancy loves helping other women business owners thrive in today’s litigious society. Opening her own law practice in 2013, Nancy understands what it takes to do so.

Repeatedly told that she’s “not your typical lawyer,” Nancy takes all that fancy legal mumbo-jumbo and demystifies it. A dynamic speaker she makes learning about the law fun, and business owners realize the law less daunting than they thought and risks can often be cost-effectively managed. When Nancy isn’t practicing law or helping restructure companies, she’s spending time on her horse farm with her husband and two teenage boys, and writing fiction under the pen name “Nancy DiMauro.”

Attorneys: A lawyer is a person who practices law, as an advocate, barrister, attorney, counselor or solicitor or chartered legal executive. Working as a lawyer involves the practical application of abstract legal theories and knowledge to solve specific individualized problems, or to advance the interests of those who hire lawyers to perform legal services. The role of the lawyer varies greatly across legal jurisdictions, and so it can be treated here in only the most general terms.
Bankruptcy Lawyers: Bankruptcy law provides for the development of a plan that allows a debtor, who is unable to pay his creditors, to resolve his debts through the division of his assets among his creditors. The philosophy behind the law is to allow the debtor to make a fresh start, not to be punished for inability to pay debts. Bankruptcy law allows certain debtors to be discharged of the financial obligations they have accumulated, after their assets are distributed, even if their debts have not been paid in full. Some bankruptcy proceedings allow a debtor to stay in business and use business income to pay his or her debts.
Corporate Business Lawyers: A corporate lawyer is also known as In-House Counsel, Staff Attorney, Deputy General Counsel, General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. Their primary objective is to serve the interests of the corporation, not the owners of the business or the officers who run it. In addition to legal counsel, they may also be called upon to provide business advice. They may practice other areas of law concerning mergers and acquisitions, trademarks, tax law bankruptcy, employment, securities, real estate or international commercial law.
Debt Consolidation Lawyers: Debt consolidation is the replacement of several loans by taking out one loan usually at a lower interest rate. It is used to manage outstanding consumer debt such as student loans, credit cards, and auto loans. It is often done when the consumer has trouble meeting the existing obligations. Debt consolidation will often lower monthly payments. It can also be called a consolidation loan. More often, debt consolidation involves a secured loan against an asset that serves as collateral. Debt consolidation enables consumers with a home or car to get a lower rate through a secured loan using their property as collateral.
